Please note: This is a general guide for the Adobe Shop. Please only follow the steps that apply to your school!
Have you received a voucher from your school? Then follow the steps under 'Exchanging a voucher code'.
Did you not receive a voucher? Then go straight to 'Purchasing Creative Cloud without voucher code' and follow the method that applies to you:
- verification with your school email address
or - verification with Smartschool
or - authentication token
or - provide proof
Exchanging a voucher code
If you received a voucher code from your educational institution in the format CC-XXXX-1234-1234-1234, you can redeem it via https://creative.academicsoftware.be.
Fill in your details and voucher code and click on 'Redeem voucher'.
If you have filled in all the details and your voucher is valid, your Adobe Creative Cloud one-year application will be confirmed on the next page. You will also receive a confirmation email from Academic Software once your account has been activated.
You will receive an email from Adobe at the email address you provided inviting you to use your Adobe Creative Cloud annual subscription.
If you haven't received it, check your junk mail.
Once you have received the invitation email from Adobe, you can proceed to the section Activating Adobe Creative Cloud.
Purchasing Creative Cloud without voucher code
Follow the steps below if you have received a link from your educational institution to purchase Adobe Creative Cloud.
Step 1
Click on the link you received from your educational institution.
Step 2
You will need to verify as a student or teacher at your educational institution.
The following verification methods are possible (which method applies to you depends on your educational institution):
- Email address provided by your educational institution
- Register with your Smartschool account
- Unique verification token of the educational institution
- Send proof (student or teacher ID, proof of enrolment...)
Method 1: verification with your school email address
- Enter your details. Fill in the email address provided by your educational institution. Then click Continue.
- You can now make the payment. Continue to step 3.
Method 2: verification with Smartschool
- Fill in your details and click Continue.
- Click on the Smartschool button to log in with your Smartschool account.
- In the Smartschool registration screen, enter the web address of your educational institution's Smartschool platform in the format ‘school.smartschool.be’.
- Log in with your username and password.
- Once you have successfully registered through Smartschool, you will be redirected to the payment page. Continue to step 3.
Method 3: authentication token
- Fill in your details and click Continue.
- Fill in your authentication token and click Continue.

You can now make the payment. Continue to step 3.
Method 4: Provide proof
- Fill in your details and click Continue.
- Enter your email address and upload a photo or scan of your student or teacher ID card, proof of enrolment or any other document proving that you are a student or teacher at the educational institution. Then click on 'Apply for an account'.

Your application will now be processed.
Please note that the software is only available after verification is complete. - Once your application is approved, you will receive an email to make the payment. Continue to step 3.
Step 3
You can now pay securely online via Bancontact, credit card or bank transfer.
Activating Adobe Creative Cloud
You will receive an email from Adobe Creative Cloud. Also make sure it hasn't ended up in your junk mail.
Step 1
Click on the ‘Get Started’ button.
Step 2
Log in with your Adobe ID. If you have forgotten your password, click on 'Reset your password'. You will receive an email to reset your password. If you don't yet have an Adobe ID, create one now.
Follow scenario 1: To request a new account or an existing account on a new device.
Follow scenario 2: For renewals on an existing device (Adobe ID) or (Federated ID).
Scenario 1: When requesting a new account/new device
Click on Continue to confirm your identity.
Enter the code you have received.
Complete your account details and create your password.
Enter your password and continue.
Become a member of our team (always click on 'Join team').
Scenario 2:
To renew on an existing device, use your email address and click Continue. Don't continue with Google, Facebook or Apple.
Log in with your Adobe ID.
Always select this icon:
Select your 'Academic Software - ' profile to access your Adobe Suite.
Step 3
Scenario 1: the software is not yet installed on your PC.
You can install the software separately via this page:
Scenario 2: the software is already installed on your PC.
Open Adobe Creative Cloud and check that you are logged in with the correct email address. To check this, click on the user icon at the top right.
If you see a different email address, log out and log in again with the correct account.
If you receive an email saying that your subscription linked to an email address from last year has expired, you may ignore this message. Your subscription is now linked to your current email address.
