How to install Cinema 4D

Requesting your licence

Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page of Cinema 4D and click the Request button to request your licence.

Your request will now be processed.
Attention: the approval can take up to 24 hours.

Step 2: Once your request has been processed, you will receive an invitiation email. Click on the link in this email to accept the invitation.

Step 3: Sign in or click on Register to create an account.

Step 4: Fill in your details and click on 'Create account'.

Step 1: Go back to Academic Software and click the button 'Download Maxon App'.

Step 2: Run the installer from your Downloads folder.

Step 3: Click on Install.

Step 4: Once the installation is complete, log in.

Step 1: Click on Install next to Cinema 4D.

Step 2: Click three times on Next.

The software will now be installed.

Step 3: Click on Finish.

Once the installation is complete, your licence will automatically be retrieved. You can now start using Cinema 4D.
