If you receive a License Manager error message during the installation of Autodesk Revit, please follow the steps provided by Autodesk below.
Step 1: Go to the support website of Autodesk.
Step 2: Next to 'Autodesk Single Sign On Component (AdSSO)' choose AKN.
Step 3: Download the ZIP file at the bottom of the page.
Step 4: Close any Autodesk application and close the AdSSO.exe file. You do this by right-clicking on the task bar, opening the Task Manager and looking for the file.
Then select the file and click on 'End task'.
Step 5: Extract the ZIP file and open the AdSSO.exe file by double-clicking on it.
Step 6: Click on Next.
Step 7: Click on Repair.
Step 8: If you are asked to close certain files, click on 'Close the applications and attempt to restart them'.
Step 9: Click on OK.
Step 10: Click on Finish, open Autodesk Revit again and sign in again.
The problem should now be solved.
