⚙️ Time to install
Step 1: Visit the IBM SPSS Statistics page on Academic Software.
Step 2: Under Select software, choose version 28.
Step 3: Select your preferred language.
Step 4: Click the Download button to get the installation file.
Step 5: Open the downloaded file from your Downloads folder to kick off the installation.
Heads-up! Installing SPSS without admin rights is like running a regression with missing data — it won’t work.
Tip: If you get a Windows Defender warning, click More info > Run anyway.
Step 6: Click Next to let the installation wizard guide you through the process.
Step 7: Accept the terms of the licence agreement and click Next.
Step 8: Click Next to confirm the default destination folder, or choose a different one via Change...
Step 9: Click Install to start the installation.
Heads-up! Installation time may vary — significantly influenced by your computer’s performance (p < 0.05).
Step 10: Click Finish to complete the installation.

Step 1: Visit the IBM SPSS Statistics page on Academic Software.
Step 2: Under Select software, choose version 28.

Step 4: Click the Request licence button to request your SPSS licence.
Step 5: Open IBM SPSS Statistics.
Step 6: Click Launch License Wizard to start the "License Authorization Wizard".
Tip: If you need to run the wizard after product installation, click File > Manage License from the IBM SPSS Statistics product menu.
Step 7: Click Next to begin the activation process.
Step 8: Choose Authorized user license and click Next.
Step 9: Enter the requested licence code under "Enter Code", click Add, then click Next.
