How to connect to Odisee's VPN

Installing AnyConnect

 

To be able to connect to Odisee's VPN, you need to install the AnyConnect VPN application.

 

Step 1: Click on the button 'Go to the VPN Client' on the right.

 

Step 2: Enter your user name (name.surname@student.odisee.be) and password and click on Logon.

 

 

Step 3: Click on the 'Download for Windows' button to download the VPN application.

 

 

Step 4: Open the file 'anyconnect-win-x.x.xxxx-core-vpn-webdeploy-k9.exe' in your download folder.

 

Step 5: Click on Next.

 

Step 6: Accept the licence terms and click on Next.

 

 

Step 7: Click on Install.

 

 

Step 8: Choose Yes when you see a 'User Account Control' pop-up.

 

Step 9: Click on Finish once the installation is complete.

 

 

 

Logging into the VPN application

Step 1: Open the application 'Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client'.

 

Step 2: Enter 'thuiswerk.odisee.be' in the field and click on Connect.

 

Step 3: Select 'B - Eigen toestel' to retrieve the necessary settings.

 

Step 4: Enter your user name (name.surname@student.odisee.be) and password and click on OK.

 

If everything went well, you are now connected to Odisee's VPN.
