How to install Siemens NX Student Edition

Step 1: Go to Siemens NX Student Edition on Academic Software and click on the button 'Go to Siemens NX' on the right to go to the Siemens website.

 

Step 2: Fill in the requested data to apply for your NX Student Edition. Then click on the button 'Start my free trial'. If you already have an account, click on 'Already have an account?

 

 

 

 

Step 3: Now you will receive an email with a confirmation button. Go to this email and click on 'Verify Email'.

 

Step 4: Then log in with your email and password.

 

 

Step 5: You will then see the following screen. Click on the button 'Download NX Student Edition'.

 

 

Step 6: You will see the following screen. Download the SiemensNXStudentEdition-2406.3002_wntx64.zip file.

 

 

Step 7: Unpack the Zip file into a folder on your computer and then open the file 'SiemensNXStudentEdition.msi'. This is the Installation Wizard.

 

 

Step 8: You will see the following welcome screen. Click on Next to continue.

 

 

Step 9: Then choose the location where you want to install Siemens NX Student Edition on your computer. Click on Next to continue.

 

 

Step 10: Then select the language for the user interface of Siemens NX Student Edition.

 

 

Step 11: Now click on Install to start the installation.

 

 

 

Step 12: Siemens NX Student Edition is being installed.

 

 

 

Step 13: Siemens NX Student Edition is installed. Click on Finish to exit the Setup Wizard.

 

 

Step 14: Go to your apps list and search for NX, launch the program by clicking on the icon:

 

 

Step 15: Click on 'Agree' to accept Siemens Industry data collection

 

 

Step 16: The software is now ready to use
