How to install SinuTrain

Installing SinuTrain

 

Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page of SinuTrain and click on the download button on the right to start the download.

 

Step 2: Open the installer in your download folder.

 

Step 3: Choose an installation language and click on Next.

 

 

Step 4: Click twice on Next.

 

 

 

Step 5: Accept the licence agreement and click on Next.

 

 

Step 6: Indicate any languages you want to install and click on Next.

 

 

Step 7: Choose which programs you want to install and click on Next.

 

 

Step 8: Click on Finish. Your computer will reboot now.

 

 

Fixing installation problems of SinuTrain

 

SinuTrain displays an error message with some users, which prevents them from installing the software. It is recommended to download all Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages. If that does not work, there is also a solution to make adjustments in the Windows Registry Editor.

 

Step 1: Open the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages program by double-clicking on the .exe file that you find in the ZIP folder.

 

 

Step 2: Accept the licence agreement and click on Install. Reboot your computer after the installation.

 

 

If you still have installation problems, there is a solution to make adjustments in the Windows Registry Editor. Since this requires some knowledge, it is recommended that you contact our helpdesk if the problem persists.

 

Installing the language pack

 

Step 1: Go back to Academic Software and select 'Language Pack' under 'Select version' on the right.

 

Step 2: Click on the download button to start the download.

 

Step 3: Unzip the ZIP file in your download folder.

 

Step 4: Launch SinuTrain and click on Weiter. 

 

 

Step 5: Then click on OK.

 

 

Step 6: Go to 'Extras - Additional HMI languages'.

 

 

Step 7: Click on the '...' button to open the path for the Language Pack archive.

 

 

Step 8: Select the desired language file (.slf) and click on the Open button.

 

 

Step 9: The archive path is registered and the selected language is displayed and marked with a flag symbol. In addition, the language package of the software version is displayed.

Click on the Install button.

 

 

Step 10: You will be notified of the successful installation. Click on the OK button to complete the installation.

 

 

Step 11: SinuTrain is now installed and ready to use.
