How to install Artlantis

Applying for your licence

 

Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page of Artlantis and click on the 'Start procedure' button at the top right.

 

Step 2: Click on 'Log in'.

 

 

Step 3: Log in if you already have an account or click on 'Create an Account' at the bottom to create an account.

 

 

Step 4: Fill in the form, accept the terms and conditions and click on Register.

 

 

Step 5: You will now receive a confirmation email from Abvent. Click on the link in the email to activate your account.

 

Step 6: Log in with the account you have just created.

 

 

Step 7: Click on 'Ok, let's go' to start the application process.

 

 

Step 8: Indicate that you are a student and click on Next.

 

 

Step 9: Select the country of your school and click on Next.

 

 

Step 10: Select your school.

 

 

If your school is not in the list, select 'My school is missing' and follow the steps below.

2. Enter the full name of your school and click on Next.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter the address details of your school and click on Next.
   
   
   
   
   
4. Enter the contact details of your school and click on Next.
   
   
   
   
5. Enter the approximate number of students in your school and click on Next. 
   
   

Step 11: Enter the end date of your educational programme and click on Next.

Step 12: Upload a valid student ID and click on Next.

Step 13: Accept the General Terms of use and click on Next.


Step 14: Verify your answers and click on 'Submit and wait for approval'.

 

 

Your application has now been sent. It may take a few days before you receive the approval via email.

 

Step 15: Click on the link in the confirmation email to download your licence.

 

 

Step 16: Log in with your account.

 

Step 17: Go to your profile in the top right corner and click on 'My Licenses'.

 

 

Step 18: Click on 'Show my license'.

 

 

Step 19: The licence key appears. You will need it later.

 

 

 

Downloading and installing Artlantis

 

The installation steps for Artlantis version 2020.0.21255, shown on the screenshots below, correspond to the installation steps for Artlantis version RT².

 

Step 1: Go back to Academic Software and click on the download button on the right to download the software.

 

Step 2: Unpack the .zip file and open the installation file 'Artlantis 2021.2.26606.exe'.

 

Step 3: Choose a language and click on OK.

 

 

Step 4: Click on Next.

 

 

Step 5: Click on 'I Agree' to accept the Licence Agreement.

 

 

Step 6: Choose whether you want to help improve the software and click on Next.

 

 

Step 7: Choose where you want to install the software and click on Next.

 

 

Step 8: Click on Install.

 

 

Step 9: Click on Finish once the installation is complete.

 

 

Step 10: Open the second .exe file to add the media library.

 

Step 11: Choose a language and click on OK.

 

 

Step 12: Click on Next.

 

 

Step 13: Choose where you want to install the software and click on Next.

 

 

Step 14: Click on Finish once the installation is complete.

 

 

 

Activating the licence

 

Step 1: Click on Activate.

 

 

Step 2: Click on Activate again.

 

 

Step 3: Enter the licence key you obtained from the Abvent website and click on OK.

 

 

Step 4: Your licence is now activated. Click on OK.

 

 

Step 5: If you are asked to install updates, click on 'Download and Quit'.

 

 

Artlantis is now installed and ready to use.
