How to install ZBrush

Note: this software only works when you are connected to the school network.

 

Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page of ZBrush and click on the button 'Download ZBrush' on the right to download the software.

 

Step 2: Extract the .zip file in your download folder to a new folder.

 

Step 3: Run the installer 'ZBrush_2020.1.1_FL_Installer.exe'.

  • If you receive a warning from Windows Smartscreen, click on 'More info...' and then on 'Run anyway'.

 

Step 4: Click on Next.

Step 5: Accept the Licence Agreement and click on Next.

Step 6: Install the programme in the default folder (C:/Program Files/Pixologic).

Step 7: Select the components you wish to install and click on Next.

The installation will now be carried out.

Step 8: Click Finish once the installation is complete.

Step 9: Run the file 'Activation ZBrush' to automatically save all licence files in the correct folders on your device.

 

After a few seconds your software is activated and ready for use via the school network.
