How to install Lectra Modaris

Requesting a licence

 

Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page of Lectra Modaris and click on the Request button at the top right to request your licence URL.

 

Step 2: Click the button again to open the link. You will be redirected to the Lectra website. 

 

Step 3: Fill in your details, use your school email address and click on Submit to request the licence file.

 

 

Step 4: You will receive a licence file in your mailbox. Save this file for later.

 

 

 

Downloading Modaris

 

Step 1: Go back to Academic Software and click on the download button on the right to download Modaris.

 

Step 2: Open the .iso file in Windows Explorer by double-clicking on it, go to the Packages folder and open ModarisV8R3.exe.

 

Step 3: Click on Install to install the required components.

 

 

Step 4: Click on Next.

 

 

Step 5: Accept the License Agreement and click on Next.

 

 

Step 6: Skip this step by simply clicking on Next.

 

 

Step 7: Select Typical and click on Next.

 

 

Step 8: Click on Install to start the installation.

 

 

Step 9: Click on Finish to complete the installation.

 

 

 

Activating the licence

 

Step 1: Find the License Manager in Windows and open it.

 

Step 2: Click on Browse and select the licence file you received via e-mail.

 

 

Step 3: Click on Activate.

 

 

Step 4: Click on OK to accept the privacy policy.

 

 

Your licence is now activated.

 

 

Modaris is now ready for use.
