How to install EndNote

Step 1: Go to EndNote on the Academic Software platform and clikc on the 'Download EndNote' button to download the software.

 

Step 2: Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installation. The installation wizard will open. Click on Next to continue.

 

 

Step 3: Click on Accept to continue.

 

 

Step 4: Read the info and click on Next.

 

 

Step 5: Accept the licence agreement by checking the box for 'I accept the license agreement' and then click on Next to continue.

 

 

Step 6: Select the desired installation type: Typical or Custom. Then click on Next to continue.

 

 

Step 7: Choose where you want to install the software on your computer by clicking on Browse. Then click on Next.

 

 

Step 8: Click on Next to start the installation.

 

 

Please note: make sure that you do not have any Microsoft Office applications open, otherwise the installation will not start and you will receive an error code (see image below).

 

 

Step 9: After the installation, click on Finish.

 

 

Step 10: You will be prompted to restart your computer. Restart your computer to implement the settings. Then you can start using EndNote.
