How to request Combell web hosting

Attention: You can only activate one Combell hosting per student per year. Choose carefully between Wordpress, Linux or .NET before creating an account. 

Step 1: Go to the Combell page of Academic Software.

Step 2: Request your promotional code by clicking on the button 'Request licence'.

Step 3: Select a language.

Step 4: Click on the button 'Go to Combell web hosting'.

Step 5: Choose your preferred Combell hosting service:

• For WordPress, click on 'WordPress hosting'.

• For Linux, click on 'Web hosting'.

• For .NET, click on '.NET hosting'.

Step 6: Select the Business package by clicking on 'Order'.

Attention: Only the Business package is eligible with your promotional code.

Step 7: Enter your desired domain name and check its availability by clicking on 'Next'.

Attention: Only .be domain names are allowed with your promotional code.

Step 8: Add your chosen domain name to your shopping cart by clicking on 'Add' and then 'Go to cart'.

Step 9: Click on 'Complete your order'.

Step 10: Fill in your details and click on 'Go to payment overview'.

Select the option 'Private'.

Tip: If you prefer to receive information and continue using the Combell services, register with your personal email address.

Step 11: In the payment overview, click on 'Do you want to redeem a promotional code?' to redeem your requested code. After applying your code, the price will be reduced to €0.

Step 12: Complete your order by accepting the general conditions and privacy policy and clicking on 'Place order'.

You can now start using your domain name.

By default, the domain name and hosting are valid for three years. After this period, the services are automatically extended twice, for one year each. You will then receive an invoice to take over the services privately.

What to do after receiving an invoice?

• Still a student and want to keep using the domain name for free?
  Contact our support as soon as you receive the invoice.
• Graduated and want to keep the domain name and hosting?
  Pay the invoice to retain the Combell services.
• Graduated and no longer need the services?
  Let us know via support@combell.com, or simply ignore the invoice and reminders. The services will be closed automatically.
