How to install Notepad++

Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page for Notepad++ and click the button, 'Download Notepad++' to download the installer. The file is saved in your downloads folder.

Step 2: Open the .exe installer file from your downloads folder to start the installation.

Step 3: Choose your language and click OK.

Step 4: The installation starts. Close all other applications and click Next.

Step 5: Read and accept the terms of the license agreement.

Step 6: Choose the installation folder and click Next.

Step 7: Choose the components and click Next.

Step 8: Click Install.

Step 9: Click Close. The program is now installed and ready to use.
