Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page of Arduino IDE and click on the green button on the right to start the download.
Select 'Arduino online editor' under 'Select version' and click on the green button for the online version.
Step 2: Open the installer in your download folder.
Step 3: Click on 'I Agree' to accept the licence terms.
Step 4: Indicate which components you want to install and click on Next.
Step 5: Choose an installation folder and click on Install.
Step 6: The installation is complete. Click on Close.
The software is installed and ready to use.
Installing the Web Plugin
Step 1: Under 'Select version' choose 'Arduino Web Plugin' and click on the green button to go to the Arduino download page.
Step 2: Click on Start.
Step 3: Download the agent for your Windows version.
Step 4: Open the installation file in your download folder.
Step 5: Click on Next.
Step 6: Accept the licence terms and click on Next.
Step 7: Choose an installation folder and click on Next.
Step 8: Choose if you want to use the Arduino Agent in other browsers than Chome or Firefox and click on Next.
Step 9: Click on Next.
Step 10: If you receive a warning from Windows Defender, click on 'Allow access'.
Step 11: The installation is finished. Click on Finish.
Step 12: Choose Yes.
Step 13: Return to the web page and click on Next.
Step 14: Click on 'Go to web editor'.
Step 15: Log in or create an account by clicking on 'Create one'.
Step 16: Enter your date of birth and click on Next.
The Web Plugin is now ready to use.
