Step 1: Go the Academic Software page for Avid Sibelius Ultimate and click on the Request button to request your product key. Copy the code and save it.
Step 2: Click on the button 'Go to Avid' to go to the Avid website and create an Avid Master account.
Fill in your details and confirm your account via the e-mail you received. Be sure to check your junk mail folder if you didn't receive it. If you already have an Avid account, log in with your username and password.
Step 3: After logging in, click the purple button 'Register Software With Code' in your account overview. Enter the code from step 1 to register your product in your account.
Step 4: Go to your Avid product page to download Avid Link. Click the blue software link, choose the Windows or Mac version.
Step 5: Extract or open the file and launch AvidLinkSetup.exe.
Choose your language and click OK.
Step 6: You will see the window below. Click Install to start the installation.
If necessary, Microsoft Visual C+ + will be installed first.
Step 7: Click Next, then click Next again to accept the license terms.
Step 8: Click Next and Install to start the installation of Avid Link.
Step 9: Click on Finish. Avid Link is now installed.
Step 10: Search for Avid Link in the Start menu. Right-click on the Avid Link icon, choose More and click 'Run as administrator' from the drop-down list.
Step 11: Log in with your Avid account details.
Step 12: Once logged in, click on Products on the left, and click on the Redeem button at the top right. Copy the product code from step 1. You can find it on the Academic Software page. Paste it into the activation window and click on 'Activate Product'.
Step 13: Click on Products to go to your product page. Search for Sibelius and click on Install to start the download. This may take a few minutes. Once the download is complete, choose your language and click OK. Then click Next.
Step 14: Accept the terms and conditions and click on Next. Then click Next again to install Sibelius Ultimate in the default folder.
Step 15: Click Next to create a link in the start menu. Then click Install to start the installation.
Step 16: Once the installation is complete, Sibelius Ultimate is ready for use. Select 'Launch Sibelius' and click on Finish.
