How to install Ultimaker Cura

The installation steps for Ultimaker Cura version 4.5, shown on the screenshots below, correspond to the installation steps for Ultimaker Cura version 5.6.0

 

Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page of Ultimaker Cura and click on the button ‘Download Ultimaker Cura’ to download the installer.

 

Step 2: Open the .exe installer file from your downloads folder and click Next to start the installation.

Step 3: Click 'I Agree' to accept the license agreement.

Step 4: Click Next to install the software in the standard location. You can also choose to change the destination folder.

Step 5: Click Next to create a Start Menu Folder.

Step 6: Select the components you want to install and click Install.

Step 7: If you get prompted by Windows Security, click Install to install the software.

Step 8: Once the installation is complete, check the box to run the program and click Finish.
The program is now installed and ready to use.
