How to install Node.js

Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page of Node.js and click on the button ‘Download Node.js’ to download the installer.

Step 2: Open the .exe installer file from your downloads folder and click on Next to start the installation.

Step 3: Check the box and click on Next to accept the License Agreement.

Step 4: Click on Next to install the software in the standard location. You can also change the destination folder.

Step 5: Select the components you want to install and click on Next. 

Step 6: Click on Install to start the installation.

Step 7: Once the installation is complete click on Finish.

The software is now installed and ready to use.
