Step 1: If you haven't activated your Office 365 account yet, go to Office 365 on your AcademicSoftware dashboard and click 'Request account' in the top right. You will receive your log-in data.
Step 2: On the same page, click the green button on the right, ‘Download MS Office 365’ to download the installer. Run the installation file. The installation will start, and will take a little while.
Step 3: Once the installation is complete, open an Office app through the Start menu.
Sign in with your Microsoft account. Follow the prompts and click 'Next'. This will complete the activation.
If you don't get prompted to activate Office, click "Sign in" in the top right corner.
Step 4: If you get asked for a file type preference, choose the standard Open XML format. Microsoft Office is now installed and ready to use.
