How to install Avid Pro Tools | First

Step 1: Go to the Avid Pro Tools First page on Academic Software and click on the button ‘Download Avid ProTools First’ to download the installer.

 

 Step 2: Create a new account or sign in with your existing account. 

 

 

Step 3: Fill in the fields and click 'Email my download links'.

 

 

Step 4: You will receive an email with download links. Click on your operating system to download the installer.

Step 5: Extract the .zip file from your downloads folder and open the Setup.exe file in the 'Pro Tools First' folder. 

 

Step 6: Select your language and click OK.

 Step 7: Click Install.

Step 8: Click Next to start the installation.

Step 9: Click Next to accept the license agreement.

Step 10: Click Install to start the installation.

Step 11: Once the installation is complete, click Finish.

Step 12: Restart your computer. After the restart the program is ready to use.
