How to install Avid Sibelius | First

Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page of Avid Sebelius First and click on the button ‘Go to Avid’. You will be directed to the webpage of Sibelius First.

 

Step 2: Create a new account or sign in with your existing account. 

 

 

Step 3: Fill in your information and click on 'Email my download links'.

 

Step 4: You will receive an email with download links and resources. Make sure to also check your spam folder. Click the button of your operating system to download the installer.

 

 

Step 5: Extract the .zip file in your downloads folder and open the file Install_Sibelius.exe.

 

Step 6: Select your language and click on OK.

 

 

 Step 7: Click on Next to start the installation.

 

 

Step 8: Accept the License Agreement and click on Next.

 

 

Step 9: Click on Next to install the software in the standard location. You can also choose to change the destination folder.

 

 

 

Step 10: Click on Next to create shortcuts. 

 

 

Step 11: Click on Install to start the installation. 

 

 

 

Step 12: Once the installation is complete, check the box to run the software and click on Finish. 

 

 

The software is now installed and ready to use.
