How to install MuseScore

Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page of MuseScore and click on the button ‘Download MuseScore’ to download the installer.

 

Step 2: Open the .exe installer file from your downloads folder and click Next.

 

 

Step 3: Check the box and click Next to accept the license agreement.

 

 

Step 4: Click Next to install the software in the standard location. You can also choose to change the destination folder. 

 

 

Step 5: Click Install to start the installation.

 

 

The software will now be installed.

 

 

Step 6: Once the installation is complete, check the box to run the program and click Finish.

 

 

Step 7: Choose if you want to send anonymous reports to improve the software. 

 

 

Step 8: Click Next.

 

 

Step 9: Choose your language and click Next. Then choose your keyboard layout.

 

 

Step 10: Choose if you want a tour and click Next. 

 

 

Step 11: Once the installation is completed click Finish.

 

 

The software is now installed and ready to use.
