Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page of OpenOffice and click on the button ‘Download OpenOffice’ to download the installer.
Step 2: Open the .exe installer file from your downloads folder and click Next to start the installation.
Step 3: Click Install to extract the installation files in the standard location.
Attention : this is not the installation of the program but the extraction of the installation files.
You can delete these installation files after the installation is complete.
Step 4: Click Next to continue.
Step 5: Choose a username and click Next.
Step 6: Select a setup type (we recommend Typical) and click Next.
Step 7: Click Install to start the installation. It may take a few minutes.
Step 8: Once the installation is complete, click Finish.
Step 9: Run OpenOffice from your Start menu and click Next.
Step 10: Fill in your first and last name and initials and click Finish to complete the installation.
The program is now installed and ready to use. You can now delete the installation files.
