Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page for Google Earth and click on the button ‘Download Google Earth’ to download the installer.
Step 2: Open the .exe installer file from your downloads folder and click on Next.
Step 3: Click on Install to install the software in the standard location and with the default options.
You can also choose to change the destination folder.
Click on Install to start the installation.
Step 4: Once the installation is completed click on OK.
When you start Google Earth for the first time, a window with tips and guides will appear.
Uncheck the box if you don't want to see the tips and guides on startup.
Click on Close to start using Google Earth.
