Attention: This tool can only be used if you cannot log out via the Adobe Creative Cloud, or your Adobe apps are no longer working properly.
Step 1: Click on this link.
Step 2: Go to step 3 'Run the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool'.
Step 3: Choose your operating system and follow the steps below:
For Windows:
Step 1: Click on this link to download the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool for Windows.
- When prompted to download or save a file, click 'Save file'
Step 2: Right-click AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe and choose 'Run as administrator'.
Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions:
- Choose your language: Type E for English and then press Enter
- Review the Adobe End User Licence Agreement: type Y to accept or N to reject (if you reject, the script stops). Press Enter
- Select the product you want to delete: type the number corresponding to the product name and press Enter
- Type Y to confirm you want to delete the product, then press Enter
Step 4: When you see the message that the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool has been run, press Enter and restart your computer.
Step 5: Download and install Adobe Creative Cloud again via this link.
Step 6: Once the installation is complete, log in again with your Adobe account.
For macOS:
Step 1: Click on this link to download the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool for Mac.
Step 2: Double-click on the file AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.dmg.
Step 3: You will see a message asking if you want to open the file. Click Open.
Step 4: Because Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool requires permissions to make changes on your computer, you will be prompted to enter the username and password.
Enter the username and password of a user account with administrator rights.
Step 5: Choose your preferred language, read the licence agreement and click Accept.
Step 6: Select the version of the product you want to remove from the menu in the top-right corner of the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool script window.
Step 7: Select the product you want to remove from the table and click 'Cleanup selected'.
(Click 'Clean All' to remove all installation files for the version of the CC or CS product you selected in step 7).
Step 8: When you see the message that the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool has been run, click Close and restart your computer.
Step 9: Download and install Adobe Creative Cloud again via this link.
Step 10: Once the installation is complete, log in again with your Adobe account.
