How to install Agisoft Metashape

Step 1: Go to the Academic Software page of Agisoft Metashape and click on the button 'Download Agisoft' to download the software. 

 

Step 2: Extract the zipped folder.

 

Step 3: Run the Metashape Pro installation file.

 

Step 4: Follow the steps to complete the installation.

Step 5: Copy the second file 'server.lic' in the folder to the following location: C:\Program Files\Agisoft\Metashape Pro.

 

Step 6: Connect to HoGent's VPN.
In order to do this, you must have FortiClient installed on your PC. If you haven't done this yet, first go to the page HoGent VPN and follow the steps in the manual.

 

If you already installed FortiClient, you can connect to HoGent's VPN in the following way:

  • Open FortiClient
  • Click on 'Connect To HoGent'
  • Sign in with your HoGent username (this is your HoGent login, not your HoGent email)

 

Step 7: Open Agisoft Metashape Pro.

If you are connected to the VPN and have saved the file in the right place, you can access the software.
