How to install and activate NutriDietist

Tip: Gaining access to NutriDietist-Student may take up to two working days, so it’s wise to request it early  —  ideally before starting the installation. That way, everything’s ready when you are!

⚙️ Windows ready? Time to install!

 

Step 1: Visit the NutriDietist page on Academic Software.

 

Step 2: Select your preferred software language.

 

Step 3: Click the Download button to get the installation file.

 

 

Step 4: Extract the downloaded ZIP folder located in your Downloads folder.

 

 

Step 5: Run the FileMaker Pro installer by clicking the .exe file.

 

 

 

Step 6: Click Browse for Certificate..., navigate to the extracted folder and select LicenseCert-[date].fmcert.

 

 

Step 7: Choose the destination folder and click Next.

 

 

Step 8: Select Complete as setup type for installation.

 

 

Step 9: Select whether your would like to place a shortcut on your desktop or in the Quick Launch toolbar, then click Next.

 

 

Step 10: Click Install to begin the installation.

 

 

Step 11: Click Finish to complete the installation.

 

 

The software is now installed.

🧭 Navigate to Grab your NutriDietist licence to begin the activation process.

 

 

⚙️ Mac set? Time to install!

 

Step 1: Visit the NutriDietist page on Academic Software.

 

Step 2: Select your preferred software language.

 

Step 3: Click the Download button to get the installation file.

 

 

Step 4: Extract the downloaded ZIP folder located in your Downloads folder.

 

Step 5: Run the FileMaker Pro installer by clicking the .dmg file.

 

 

Step 6: Drag the FileMaker Pro application to the Applications folder icon to install FileMaker Pro.

 

 

The software is now installed.

🎫 Grab your NutriDietist licence

 

Step 1: Click the Request licence button to request your NutriDietist-Student application.

  • Your application will be created within two working days.
  • You will receive an email with your personal application details.

 

Step 2: Launch FileMaker Pro to activate NutriDietist-Student.

macOS? A few bonus steps, just for you!

  • Click Enter License.

 

 

  • Click Browse, navigate to the extracted folder and select LicenseCert-[date].fmcert, then click Continue to proceed.

 

 

Step 3: Tick the box to agree to the software licence terms and click Accept.

 

 

Step 4: Click Add App, then select From Host... (Windows) or click Add Hosted App... (macOS).

 

 

 

Step 5: Click the three dots in the top-right corner to enter a new host URL.

 

 

Step 6: Locate the Network File Path in your Nutrilink email, paste it into the "Network Path" box, and click OK.

  • The path should look something like this: fmnet:/xxxx.nutrilink.eu/xxxxxxx.fmp12.
  • Heads-up! When copying, watch out for extra spaces or hidden line breaks — even the smallest glitch can cause big headaches.

    NutriDietist is now added as a favorite to FileMaker Pro.

    🚀 Getting started with NutriDietist via FileMaker Pro

     

    Step 1: Open FileMaker Pro and click the NutriDietist icon to launch the NutriDietist-Student application.

     

    Step 2: Log in using the login details you received by email.

    • On your first login, you‘ll be asked to change your password.
    • Heads-up! The account name might be auto-filled with your computer name. Handy for your IT team, but not ideal for logging in. Make sure to enter your own username instead. You can find more info 🔗 here.

     

     

    🚀 Getting started with NutriDietist via your browser

     

    Tip: The installed version is like a hearty meal — solid, reliable, and great for your workflow. The browser version? Perfect for a quick snack on the go.

     

    Step 1: Open the personal web browser link sent to you by email.

     

    Step 2: Access your account using the NutriDietist login details provided.

    • The username you are trying to use
    • The weblink to the application (if applicable)
       

    Please note that an email address is not a valid username for NutriDietist-Student.
