Installing Stabicad
Step 1: Go to the Stabicad page on Academic Software.
Step 2: Select your language.
Step 3: Download the installation program by clicking on the button 'Download Stabicad'.
Step 4: Extract the zip file into your Downloads folder.
Step 5: Open the folder and run the installation file 'StabicadSetup.exe'.
Step 6: When you are asked if you would like to make changes on your computer, click on 'Yes'.
Step 7: Choose your language and click on 'Next'.
Step 8: Accept the licence agreement and click on 'Next'.
Step 9: Choose 'Express installation'.
Attention! If a SQL database is already present on your PC, the 'Express installation' cannot be selected. In that case, choose 'Tools' to first install a SQL server. Start the StabicadSetup.exe and choose 'Advanced local installation'.
Step 10: Click on 'Install'.
Attention!
If the installation of SQL Server 2017 fails, check whether the latest updates are installed on your computer. Update if necessary and restart you PC.
You will be asked to log in to import programmes. Skip this step by clicking on the cross and then on 'Close'.
Step 11: Click on 'Finish' once the installation is complete. You will be asked to reboot. Click on 'Yes'.
Activate your licence
Step 1: Request your debtor number and licence code by clicking on the button 'Request username and password'.
Step 2: Start Stabicad to activate you licence.
Step 3: Click on 'Activate or deactivate Stabicad...'.
Step 4: Click on 'Activate Stabicad online'.
Step 5: Use the requested debtor number (Enterprise Customer Id) and licence code and click on 'Next'.
Step 6: Click on 'Finish'.
Step 7: A login window will open. Use the login information found on the Stabicad page of Academic Software.
Step 8: You can now use Stabicad.
