How to install and configure SAP GUI for Mac

Installation

Download and run the Installation_macbook.DMG file on the laptop you want to install the SAP front-end on. The SAP version that is downloaded is the SAP Logon 7.70.

Configuration

 

Step 1: Open SAP GUI.

Step 2: A new window like the following should appear:

 

 

Step 3: Create a new connection by clicking on the blank page icon.

 

 

Step 4: Click on the advanced tab.

 

 

Step 5:

• Give a description, for example ‘SAP UCC Magdeburg’
• Check the box ‘expert’
• Finally, paste the following text in the text box:
  conn=/H/cloud.ucc.ovgu.de/S/3299/H/M29Z/S/3229
• Your screen should look like below
  
  

 

Step 6: Click ‘OK’ to save your settings.

 

Step 7: Close and reopen SAP GUI.

Step 8: Your screen should now look like the one below.

 

 

Log onto the system

(Only after you receive credentials in class)

Step 1: Open SAP Logon.

Step 2: A new window like the following should appear.

 

 

Step 3: Double-click on ‘SAP UCC Magdeburg'.

 

Step 4: Enter your credentials in the following window.

 

 

You will receive your credentials in class during the first practice session.
The client number is always 369 and username is LEARN-### where you replace “###” with your own three-digit number.
