How to install and configure SAP GUI for Windows

Download files for Windows

• Select your software language
• Click on 'Download SAP GUI, the download will start
• Once the file is downloaded, you can unzip it
• Open the file 'SAP_GUI_770' and double-click on 'deploy-application'
• The installation will take a few minutes
• When the installation is complete, you will receive a message

Step 1: Open SAP Logon.

Step 2: A new window like the following should appear:

Step 3: Click on the small icon at the top left of 'SAP Logon' and choose 'Options'.

Step 4: Then click 'SAP Logon Options' and then 'Configuration Files'.

Step 5: Transfer the path within the red frame to your settings (http://cloud.ucc.ovgu.de/gui/U1BE007.xml). Please make sure that 'Allow caching of remote
configuration files' is not selected.

Step 6: Click 'OK' to save your settings.

Step 7: Close and reopen SAP Logon to see your SAP Systems.

Step 8: Click on ‘SAP UCC Magdeburg’ and on ‘Log in’.

Step 9: Enter your credentials in the following window.

You will receive your credentials in class during the first practice session.
The client number is always 369 and username is LEARN-### where you replace “###” with your own three-digit number.
