Start in Browser via VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
Via the Cloud Player you can access the software without having to install anything.
Step 1: Go to the Word-page on Academic Software and select 'opstarten via VDI in browser.'
Step 2: Click the 'Start' button, and Word will be ready to use without the need for installation.
Start via Azure Virtual Desktop
Installing Remote Desktop
Step 1: Go to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2068602 to access Azure Virtual Desktop.
Step 2: Find the downloaded .exe installation file in your download folder and open it.
Step 3: Click the "Next" button to proceed with the installation.
Step 4: Read and accept the end-user license agreement by clicking "I agree to the terms."
Step 5: Select the users for whom you want to install Remote Desktop and then click the "Install" button.
Step 6: Wait for the installation to complete. Click "Finish" to close the installation process.
Opening Word
Step 1: Go to the Word page on Academic Software.
Step 2: Choose the option 'Start via Azure Virtual Desktop' and click 'Download rdpw file.'
Step 3: Locate and open the downloaded Word.rdpw file with Remote Desktop.
Step 4: Sign in with your account credentials.
Step 5: You can now use Word via Remote Desktop.
